Unit 13: May I take your order, please?

In the unit 13 we talked about the different type of foods (German, French, Italian, and others). How to invite people to lunch and dinner, how to make a restaurant order, and ordering a meal in a restaurants and coffee shop.

Invitation:

Marienela: Tell me, do you want to go out for lunch at midday?
Carlos: Sure, I love it. Where would you like to go?
Marienela: Well, how do you like Italian food?
Carlos: Oh, I like it a lot
Marienela: I do, too. I know an excellent Italian restaurant it’s called Sicilia
Carlos: Oh, I always wanted to go there
Marienela: Terrific! Let’s go!

Restaurant:

Innkeeper: Good afternoon; may I take your order?
Marienela: Yes, I’ll have the cold pasta salad
Carlos: And I’ll have the vegetarian pasta
Innkeeper: What would you like to drink?
Marienela: for me a large soda
Carlos: I’d like a large ice tea
Innkeeper: And would you like anything else?
Marienela: No, thanks. That will be all
Carlos: Yes, please. I’d like apple pie after lunch
Innkeeper: Ok. I’ll bring it right away

Unit 15: I’m going to see a musical

This unit consist in talking about plans, leisure activities (Barbecue, beach party, baseball games, others), invite a partner; take a telephone messages and who’s calling.

Carlos: Hello! May I speak to Mr. Thompson, please?
Secretary: I’m sorry! He’s not here can I take a message?
Carlos: yes, please this is Mr. Castro
Please ask Mr. Thompson to call me, this afternoon, my number is 797-0805.
Secretary: 797-0805, yes, Mr Castro I’ll give Mr. Thompson the message.
Carlos: Thank you, good bye
Secretary: Good Bye

Carlos: Hello! Marienela, How are you?
Marienela: Fine, thanks!!
Carlos: What are you doing on Friday? Would you like go to a baseball game?
Marienela: I’d love to, but I can’t, because I’m working to late in the office.
Carlos: ok are you, free on Saturday?
Marienela: yes I’m free, why?
Carlos: do you want to go to a concert at Ricardo Arjona?
Marienela: Yes, I’d like, to where and what time?
Carlos: in the event palace, at 7 pm
Marienela: ok see you soon
Carlos: fine, Bye

Unit 16: Things that bring about change in our lives

In the unit 16 we talked about catching up with some friend; describing changes, things that change and planning the future.

My plans for the future

I would like to graduate in the university school; obtain an excellent work in an important company of graphic design.
I’d like to have a wonderful house; married with the man I love; have a happy family, two kids.
I’d like to travel around the world; to know many countries many cultures; to take a cruise to the Bahamas.
I hope help many people participating in foundations, this are some plans for the future.

Conclusion

This level I enjoy to write conversations and to observe dramatization. I’m very satisfied with the four level of English because this class taught me many thing; help me to understand a little more of this language.
